South Bend Harpist ~ Bendix Woods Wedding Ceremony

This past Saturday’s wedding for Dawn and Richard at Bendix Woods Park in St. Joseph County, Indiana was in a perfect spot on a perfectly beautiful day. The wedding ceremony was located at the Glen Bauer Pavilion area of the park.

The maid of honor and the best man entered the wedding area to “Canon in D.”  The bride came down the aisle to “Only Time.”  During the wedding, the couple took part in a unity sand ceremony.  While the bride and groom were pouring the sand, I played “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera.  For the bride and groom’s exit, the first movement of “Spring” from The Four Seasons was played.

While the couple stood at the back of the seating area to greet wedding guests, I played a variety of classical and popular postlude music such as “Trumpet Tune,” “King William’s March,” “Time to Say Goodbye,” and “Fields of Gold.”
