Culver Wedding Ceremony Harpist

Culver, Indiana, is known by most people as the location for Culver Academy, a prep school that gets high marks. But Culver also provides a beautiful lake front scene and is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony.  Ronnie and Leigh had the opportunity to use his family’s Culver lake front home to host a wedding ceremony right on the shore.

The ceremony was an intimate gathering of close friends and family with the bride and groom tying the knot with the lake as the backdrop.  The ceremony began with the bridesmaids entering to the song “Processional.”  After the flower girls came down the aisle, the bride followed to the traditional “Bridal Chorus.”

During the ceremony, the couple decided to participate in a rose ceremony and also a unity candle ceremony.  Although it was a very windy day, the couple managed to get the unity candle lit!  While the couple was lighting the unity candle and signing the marriage license, I played the Quest for Camelot song “The Prayer.”  Once the couple was announced they walked back up the aisle to the Rogers and Hammerstein song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from the musical Carousel.  They definitely had an eclectic mix of music, from classical to Broadway!
