Lauren & Keith had a gorgeous summer day for their wedding on the lawn of the Inn at Bay Harbor. Overlooking Lake Michigan, it was a lovely spot to have their ceremony, prior to the reception inside the Inn.
The bride and groom preferred mostly popular and contemporary music, with a few recognizable classics as well. They had a very eclectic music list for their wedding! The bridesmaids, ring bearers, and flower girls all entered to “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin.
Lauren chose Sting’s “Fields of Gold” for her processional, and during the ceremony, I accompanied a friend of the bride singing “Someone to Watch Over Me” by Gershwin. We were able to get in a quick rehearsal right before the ceremony, and even the run-through brought the mother of the bride to tears!
“Clair de Lune” by Debussy was the music for the unity candle lighting, and the recessional was “Clocks” by Coldplay. I continued with postlude music as the guests had the large group photo taken and made their way to the cocktail hour.
