It was a hot Saturday afternoon for Danielle & Andrew’s wedding, but the shade in the Chapel in the Trees made the outdoor ceremony bearable. The bride and groom also provided bottles of water for their guests ~ a much appreciated touch!
The Funks Grove Chapel in the Trees, just south of Bloomington-Normal, is such a lovely spot for a rustic and secluded wedding ceremony. There is also a historic chapel on-site for the days when the weather just won’t cooperate!
The wedding party included nine bridesmaids and a flower girl, and they all entered to “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. Danielle came down the aisle to Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
For the lighting of the unity candle, I played Enya’s “Only Time.” The recessional was “Trumpet Tune.” I continued to play until all of the guests made it back to their air conditioned cars, and were off to the reception!
