On the day of the first big snow of the season, Harvest Bible Chapel in Davenport hosted a women’s open house for Christmas. The ladies who attended enjoyed food and a variety of music.
In various rooms throughout the church, they could sit and listen to Christmas music performed on the harp, the guitar, or by singers. I played harp arrangements of a variety of traditional carols, including “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World,” and “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing.” Following the open house portion of the evening, they held a worship service in the sanctuary of the church.
The harp is the perfect accompaniment to any event during the Christmas season! For more information about having harp music for a holiday party, please visit my website – Quad Cities Harpist.
