Lanee and Jonathan had a beautiful June day for their outdoor wedding ceremony! The wedding took place at Drake’s Landing in Canfield, Ohio, and they chose a harp and violin duet to provide their ceremony music. Lorenda Howell was their coordinator, and did a wonderful job keeping everyone on schedule and making the day worry-free for the couple, family, and wedding vendors!
We played popular songs, such as “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, during the prelude as guests arrived and found their seats overlooking the lake. The wedding party came down the aisle to “All is Said and Done” by Beyonce and Marc Nelson. Lanee opted for a classical piece, Pachelbel’s “Canon in D,” for her processional.
The couple had communion during the service, and we played the Malotte “Lord’s Prayer” softly in the background. As the newly married couple jumped the broom and began their walk back down the aisle, we played “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn.
The harp and violin music continued as guests made their way inside the beautifully-decorated banquet hall for the cocktail hour and dinner.
