It is always exciting to play for a wedding at a new venue! Emerson Fields, located just south of Macon in Excello, Missouri, combines the best of a rustic barn feeling with modern conveniences. They have done an excellent job creating a beautiful, country space for couples to come from all over Missouri!
Bailey and Grant were married in late July, and with the rain that came and went all day, were blessed with a lovely indoor space for their ceremony. The grandparents and parents of the couple were seated to “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts.
Bailey chose “Canon in D” for both the wedding party processional and her big entrance. I saved the more majestic section for her walk down the aisle, preceded by a big harp glissando to announce her arrival!
The recessional was “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. The guests were dismissed to the cocktail hour on the patio, and the room was re-set for dinner service.
