I played for a charity dinner in Wyoming, Michigan, at the Gordon Food Service Headquarters. In between presentations, guests dined with harp music in the background!
Most of the songs requests were for familiar hymns – “Amazing Grace,” “Be Thou My Vision,” “Blessed Assurance.” Along with those, I included a few jazz standards and Broadway songs, such as “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music, “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera, and “At Last” by Etta James.
Guests loved the music, and one described it as “peaceful and soul-calming.” Live music definitely has an impact!
