Springfield Wedding Music {Washington Park Gazebo}

I love weekday weddings!  They are casual, less rushed, and more intimate.  Perfect for the couple who doesn’t want all the “fuss” of a big wedding!  This couple was married on a Thursday afternoon at the Washington Park Gazebo in Springfield.  They even were blessed with comfortable temperatures and good weather – and it was the second outing for my Venus Encore harp!

As guests arrived at the gazebo, I played “You Raise Me Up,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and “I’m Yours” – all special requests of the bride and groom.  As Ashley came down the sidewalk toward the gazebo, I played “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera.  The bride’s sister was their officiant, and she created a personal and meaningful ceremony.

Their recessional was the hymn “Amazing Grace.”  I continued with postlude music as family pictures began, and the background music included “Come Sail Away,” “Bless the Broken Road,” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

The harp is the perfect addition to any ceremony!  I have played for weddings ranging from 3 to 3000 guests, on every day of the week, and ranging in dress code from beachwear to white tie.  Contact me with the details of your wedding day to start planning – Springfield Wedding Music.
