What a stunning church! The wedding guests were not only awed by the space, but heard it filled with harp music as they entered for Christina & Dan’s wedding ceremony at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church.
The prelude included various classical pieces, such as “Spring” from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. The family entered to “Fields of Gold,” and the wedding party processional was “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” by Bach. Christina chose the traditional “Bridal Chorus” for her entrance.
The ceremony was only the wedding service, not the full Mass. We did include the sung “Celtic Alleluia” before the Gospel reading. At the conclusion of the ceremony, “Rainbow Connection” was the recessional, and the postlude featured Irish folk songs and more classical harp pieces.
