Grand Rapids Wedding Music {The Cheney Place}

I love it when couples think outside of the box for their wedding music!  Dan and Rebekah did just that, featuring music during their ceremony that was meaningful to them.  It was difficult, however, for them to narrow down their list – I have a huge repertoire!  Their wedding was held at The Cheney Place in Grand Rapids.

Prelude music began with selections from Lord of The Rings, The Little Mermaid, and Forrest Gump.  As family members were seated, I played “100 Years” by Five for Fighting.  The wedding party processional was “From This Moment On” by country singer Shania Twain, with Rebekah following to “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid.

During the unity sand ceremony, I played “You and Me” by Lifehouse.  The funnel they used to pour the sand was sheet music of the bride’s processional song!  The recessional was their special request – “Everything is Awesome” from The Lego Movie.

Disney Wedding Music

I continued playing upbeat music, such as “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” from Spamalot as guests went upstairs for the social hour.  If you are interested in unique and non-traditional music for your wedding, please visit my website {Grand Rapids Wedding Music} to start making plans!
