Springfield Wedding Harpist – Lincoln Park Bridge

Some of my couples book me two years in advance.  However, I’m always happy to work with last-minute requests, too!  Facing an uncertain health diagnosis, the bride and groom moved their wedding plans up, and put together their celebration in just a few days.  The bride called and booked 24 hours before the ceremony.  I am so glad I was available and able to add the beauty of harp music to their ceremony!

It was held at sunset at the Lincoln Park Bridge in Springfield, with the reception up the hill at the Nelson Center.  Their only request was that I play Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” which was the music as the bride walked down the aisle with the couple’s 1-year-old daughter as her escort.

Guests filled the bridge for the service, then parted to allow the newlyweds to exit on a golf cart!  I played until the last guest had walked over to the reception, keeping the music upbeat and happy for the send-off.

No matter when your wedding is taking place – 24 months or 24 hours from now – get in touch!  Saturday and holiday dates do tend to book up early, but even if you are planning on a shorter timeline, contact me at http://www.TheClassicHarpist.com to check availability.
