Harpist in Grand Rapids ~ Downtown Market Greenhouse Wedding

I absolutely love greenhouse weddings.  You get the feel of being outside, but without the worries about the weather!  They are a year-round option for weddings, as well.  This ceremony was in the Downtown Market Greenhouse in Grand Rapids – very convenient to grab some great Thai food for lunch before the ceremony!

The flowers for this wedding were stunning!  Huge arrangements lined the aisle and a beautiful arch framed the bride and groom exchanging vows.  They requested popular songs for guest arrival music, so I included “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, and the jazz standard “At Last.”

Family members were seated to “When You Wish Upon a Star” from the Disney movie Pinocchio, and the wedding party processional was “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”  Lauren chose another Disney song, the theme from Beauty and the Beast, for her walk down the aisle.

During the ceremony, the couple created a time capsule to open on their 10th anniversary, containing a bottle of wine and notes to each other and from their family and friends.  The recessional was “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, and I kept the music going as the newlyweds dismissed their guests to the reception across the hall.

I play for weddings in Grand Rapids and throughout West Michigan.  Contact me to check availability for your date at {Grand Rapids Wedding Music}!
