Decatur Wedding Harpist

The bride’s family farm was the setting for this elegant fall wedding in rural Moweaqua.  The shed had been transformed with lights, draping, and silver chairs.  The sunlight through the windows made everything sparkle!

I played background music as guests arrived by bus and found their seats.  The bride chose “Canon in D” by Pachelbel for the processional of the family and wedding party.  She went with the traditional “Bridal Chorus” for her own entrance music.

During the ceremony, I played the hymn “Amazing Grace” during the unity ritual.  The recessional was also traditional, the “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn.

I continued with postlude music until the guests had exited and were on their way to the reception.
