My holiday harping season started off with a Christmas concert at the Rock Island Public Library, as part of their Tuneful Tuesdays concert series. I love my first performance each year with my favorite carols!
For this concert, I chose some traditional favorites (Away in a Manger, Silent Night) and some more obscure – but equally beautiful! – Christmas songs (Gesu Bambino, Lo How a Rose E’er Blooming).
At the end of the concert, I always invite the audience up to see the harp up close and ask questions about the music or the instrument. It’s not often that you get to see a harp in person! If you are looking for a harpist to play for a wedding, party, or concert, please visit my website {Rock Island Harpist} to get in touch and start planning!
