Originally planned for a venue in Libertyville, this wedding was relocated to Kilbuck Creek in Monroe Center, just south of Rockford, to allow for more outdoor space. Sarah and Jim had a perfect September day for their garden ceremony!
The prelude included “How Beautiful,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “Ave Maria,” and concluded with “Unchained Melody” (a special surprise for the groom’s grandparents) for the family seating.
The wedding party came down the aisle to “Love Story” by Taylor Swift, and Sarah’s processional choice was Sam Smith’s “Latch.” It was the perfect combination of familiar songs, both classical and contemporary! Their DJ played for the recessional and postlude.
I play for weddings in Rockford and throughout Northern Illinois, the Chicago area, and Southern Wisconsin. Check my website ~ Rockford Harpist ~ for song lists, videos, and more pictures, and contact me about adding harp music to your wedding plans!
