St. Louis Wedding Musician ~ Wedding on a Family Farm

Another wedding with some changes brought on by COVID!  With the region of their original wedding venue under restrictions, the bride and groom opted to relocate their late September wedding to the bride’s family farm in rural Kampsville, Illinois.  They were blessed with the perfect fall day for their outdoor ceremony and reception!

The groom’s mother gifted my performance at the ceremony to the couple.  Her only special request was to play “Fields of Gold” – perfect for the harvest season!  The family was seated to this piece, with the wedding party following to “All of Me.”  Hanna’s processional was Pachelbel’s “Canon in D.”

During the ceremony, Hanna and David had both a unity ritual and presented roses to their mothers.  Their chosen music was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran and J.S. Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.”  The ceremony concluded with the recessional “With a Little Help from My Friends” by The Beatles.
