I was booked for this wedding only a few days in advance. With so many couples having to make changes due to COVID, last-minute bookings are more common! Sometimes a venue change is required, as was the case here. Can you think of a better place for a wedding reception than a bridal salon?
After their church ceremony, Vera’s House of Bridals welcomed guests for cocktails and dinner. At the top of the grand staircase, where a bridal gown would often be highlighted, was the harp. It was the perfect focal point as guests entered, and all those mirrors created the illusion of multiple harps!
The bride and groom opted for mostly classical harp selections, which included pieces by Handel, Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Purcell. This is some of the greatest music ever written, but no matter what I’m playing, the harp adds an air of elegance to any event!
I play for wedding ceremonies and receptions (as well as other events) in Madison and throughout Wisconsin. Get in touch via my website ~ Madison WI Harpist ~ to check availability and receive a quote!
