Wedding at Culver Academies Chapel ~ Northern Indiana Harpist

Jessica and Evan were married in an intimate ceremony at the Culver Academies Memorial Chapel.  Both on the faculty at Culver, it was the perfect place for their wedding!  As guests arrived, I played a variety of classical music, including “Prelude in C” by J.S. Bach and the “Largo” from Handel’s Xerxes.  This ceremony was to be a Baroque music spectacular!

The bride, accompanied by her mother, came down the aisle to Purcell’s “Chaconne” from The Fairy-Queen.  For the lighting of the unity candle, I played “Arioso” by Bach, and the recessional was another Handel piece – “Aria” from Rinaldo.

I continued with other selections by Purcell, Telemann, and Handel for the postlude.  When I have a sanctuary with such marvelous acoustics, I have to play some of these classics!

For weddings of any size, I love playing music that the couple chooses.  It can be anything you like – classical, contemporary, or a mix – and should be meaningful to you!  Harp music is an elegant touch to any setting, and I play for weddings throughout Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois.  Get in touch by visiting my website:  Northern Indiana Harpist for Weddings.
