Friday the 13th was a lucky day for Cayla and Philip! They celebrated their wedding at the Gillespie Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Bend, Indiana, and had a beautiful day for their courtyard ceremony.
The groom’s sister was the one who originally contacted me, and she hired me as her wedding present to the couple. Yes, you can gift wedding music!
The bride and groom chose the music for the ceremony, which included classical music for guest arrival, followed by “Prelude in C” by J.S. Bach for the seating of family members and the entrance of the flower girls and ring bearers.
Cayla came down the aisle to “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey, a song that featured on the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby. The recessional was “Great Day,” a glissando-filled harp solo by Nancy Gustavson.
Harp music continued as guests made their way inside for the reception. Classical, popular, or a mix of everything, the music of the harp is the perfect way to add a touch of distinction and elegance to your wedding! Visit my website ~ South Bend Wedding Music ~ to get in touch and receive a quote.
