Wedding at The Celebration Farm ~ Iowa City Harpist

Wedding Harpist Iowa City

Haylee and Chance were married on a hot August Friday at the Celebration Farm outside of Iowa City.  Originally planned for October of 2020, like many couples, they had to reschedule.

When they finally were able to come together with friends and family, they had an outdoor ceremony in the amphitheater and the reception at the Double Round Barn.  The stone arches frame the ceremony space beautifully!

I played harp prelude as their guests arrived, and Pachelbel’s “Canon in D” for the seating of the families.  The wedding party came down the aisle to “Arioso” by J.S. Bach.  The DJ played the bridal processional and unity sand music.

Back to harp for the recessional (“Wedding March” by Mendelssohn) and the postlude.  The music continued until the guests had gotten inside the air conditioning at the reception!
