Alabama Harpist ~ Wedding Music in Birmingham

Amanda and Taylor were married in a the church (New Life Assembly of God in rural Woodstock, Alabama) where the groom serves as the youth pastor.  It was a rainy January day, but the candles in the sanctuary made it feel warm!

As guests arrived, I played Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” “Amazing Grace,” and a variety of other hymns, classical pieces, and popular love songs.  They chose “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” for the flower girl’s entrance, followed by “How Beautiful” by Twila Paris for the bride’s processional.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the newly-married couple, and the traditional “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn accompanied their walk out of the church.

I continued to play upbeat music as the guests exited the sanctuary and made their way to the reception.  I play for weddings and other events in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and throughout Alabama!  Visit my website ~ Alabama Wedding Harpist ~ to contact me about my availability for your date and to receive a quote.
