Indy Wedding Music – Harp, Violin, & Cello Trio

Naomi and Jesse knew they wanted something beautiful and impressive for their wedding music, so they went with a trio of harp, violin, and cello for their ceremony and reception! Although many of the weddings I play for are just harp alone, adding other string instruments is a lovely option that gives you a deeper and fuller sound.

Avon Gardens outside of Indianapolis has multiple options for ceremony sites. Rain kept us off to the side under a tent, but the music was able to carry on! Of course, wooden instruments can’t get wet, but we were able to stay dry under the tent as guests were seated under their umbrellas for the ceremony. The venue even got out the leaf blower to try to dry the aisle!

Naomi knew the two songs she wanted for the ceremony – “This Will Be Our Year” by The Zombies and “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding. However, she preferred “This Will be Our Year” for her processional, but it was a bit more uptempo that she wanted for her entrance.

This is the beauty of live, professionally-played instrumentals – we can adjust in any way you’d like! We were able to do a slowed-down acoustic version of The Zombies’ song, and then an uptempo version of “How Long Will I Love You” as the recessional.

We moved to the other side of the gardens for the cocktail hour, where we continued with a mixture of popular and classical music with the trio. If you are looking for wedding music, please get in touch! Either solo harp or in an ensemble, I’d love to create the perfect soundtrack for your ceremony, reception, or both!
