Southern Ohio Harpist ~ Wedding Ceremony Music in Jackson

Josie & Cody had a beautiful August day for their ceremony at the Winery at Camba.  Located south of Jackson, Ohio, this was a lovely and secluded venue for both their ceremony and reception.  They had a large tent on the front lawn for their ceremony, and it was decorated with hundreds of flowers!

As the families of the bride and groom entered, I played “All I Ask of You” from the Broadway musical Phantom of the Opera.  The bridesmaids (all 22 of them!) and groomsmen came down the aisle to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D.”  With that many bridesmaids, I was a little worried about losing count as they processed, but the coordinator kept everyone organized and was very good about giving me cues for music changes.

Josie chose “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last for her entrance music.  Featured in the Twilight movie Breaking Dawn, Part 1, I began this piece as the bride arrived by horse and carriage.  She was escorted down the aisle by her mother and grandmother.  During the ceremony, I played Enya’s “Only Time” for the unity sand.

When the couple was presented to their guests, the recessional, “Down by the Salley Gardens” accompanied their walk back up the aisle.  I continued with postlude music until all of the guests had exited the ceremony tent and were on their way to the reception.
