Western Iowa Harpist & Funeral Musician

Harp music is the perfect way to honor loved ones who have passed.  It can be solemn and reflective or upbeat and joyful – or some of both!

I was asked by the family to provide harp music as people arrived for the funeral service at the Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park and exited on the way to the cemetery.  Following graveside rites, I played through the luncheon that was also held in the Konferenz Centre’s Hansen Hall.  From the windows by where the harp was set up, you could see the historic barn across the lawn.

The music included classical pieces and jazz standards, and “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen was a particular favorite.

For any event, harp music adds a special touch.  I am available throughout western Iowa, eastern Nebraska, and beyond.  You’ll find more information on my website at Western Iowa Harpist.
