Chandler Hill Vineyards Wedding {St. Louis Harpist}

It was a beautiful afternoon for Lara and Matt’s wedding, even if it felt more like summer than September!  Their ceremony took place on the deck of Chandler Hill Vineyards in Defiance, Missouri, with the reception inside their banquet hall.  Not too far from St. Louis, this is a beautiful countryside venue that is still convenient to the city.

As their guests gathered, I played classical and popular pieces they requested, including “La Gimblette,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “Andiam mio tesoro.”  The families and wedding party processed down the aisle to “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds.  Lara chose “Canon in D” by Pachelbel for her entrance music.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the couple and wedding party came back up the aisle to Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.”  I love that they chose an eclectic mix of classical and popular music – a bit of tradition, but also songs that mean something to them!

All of the couples with whom I work customize their ceremony music.  Whether your tastes lean toward classical or jazz, Bollywood or Irish, rock or Disney, I can play any music of your choice!  Visit my website {St. Louis Wedding Harpist} to contact me for availability and a quote.
