Shawndra and Conlee had a beautiful, luxurious wedding at The Cadre Building in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The historic building was filled with white flowers and gold accents, and the ceremony took place on the raised stage. The harp was situated in front of a screen with their names in gold, framed by flowers.
As guests arrived, the harp prelude included “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, “All of Me” by John Legend, and “Have I Told You Lately that I Love You” by Van Morrison. The families were seated to Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up,” and the wedding party came down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The Elvis connection was especially appropriate for a Memphis wedding!
Shawndra’s processional was “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Their unity sand ceremony was accompanied by “Reverie” by harpist and composer Marcel Grandjany, and the recessional was “All You Need is Love” by The Beatles. I continued to play as guests made their way to the upstairs balcony for the cocktail hour.
