Wedding Harpist Kansas City ~ Leap Day Wedding at The Everly

Alyssa and Colby had a wedding date no one could forget ~ Leap Day!  With the 29th of February falling on a Saturday, there were several weddings going on around Kansas City.  Their ceremony and reception were in the Crossroads Arts District at The Everly Event Space.

They chose primarily non-traditional music for their wedding.  The prelude included “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding, “Shallow” by Lady Gaga, “Tenerife Sea” by Ed Sheeran, and “Faded” by Alan Walker.  The families processed to the theme from Beauty and the Beast.  The wedding party entrance music was “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, and Alyssa came down the aisle to the classic “Canon in D.”

Another Ellie Goulding song, “Love Me Like You Do,” was the recessional.  This was followed by more contemporary music, such as “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Kiss Me” by Ed Sheeran, and “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron.
