Rockford Wedding Music ~ Harp in Northern Illinois

Planning a wedding during a pandemic can mean rescheduling a year or more out, or it can mean putting together a wedding in one week – which is what this couple did!  Angie and Scott gathered with about 20 guests in the old brick church of City First Chapel in Rockford for their intimate wedding ceremony.

Guests gathered and took their (socially distanced!) seats in the sanctuary, as I played a variety of classical and popular romantic songs, including “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel, “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, and “Only Time” by Enya.

The processional for the wedding party and “flower dog” was “Fields of Gold” by Sting, and Angie came down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

Their recessional to accompany their walk back down the aisle was “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, followed by the jazz standard “At Last.”

No matter your timeline, I’d love to play the harp for your wedding!  I work with couples planning two years or two days in advance, and their music will be equally lovely and personalized.  Get in touch with your date and location details at ~ Northern Illinois Harpist ~ so we can start planning your wedding music!
