Tri-Cities Harpist – Wedding at the International Storytelling Center

Alexa and Collin were married at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee.  They had a beautiful spring day, and the large windows brought the outside in!

Their ceremony and reception both took place inside, with the fireplace as the backdrop.  Guests who couldn’t attend in person watched on Zoom.  Even after we get back to “normal,” I hope that continues, so people around the world can celebrate together!

The family and wedding party came down the aisle to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D.”  Alexa chose “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for her processional.  Their unity bead ceremony had the Welsh folk song, “Suogan,” playing in the background, followed by the Scottish folk song, “Loch Lomond” for their handfasting.

All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera concluded the ceremony.  I continued to play as guests exited and the room was flipped for dinner.

The music for dinner included classical and Celtic music, such as “Arioso” by Bach, “The Swan” by Saint-Saens, and the Irish folk songs “Carrickfergus,” “Galway Piper,” and “Lark in the Clear Air.”

I play for wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout the Tri-Cities area and beyond, including Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Southeast Kentucky.  Get in touch at {Tri-Cities Wedding Harpist} to bring the beauty of harp music to your event!
