Ann and Brent brought together many of Springfield’s top wedding pros for their September celebration! It was a beautiful day from start to finish, with the ceremony taking place downtown at the historic First Christian Church.
I played prelude music as guests arrived and were seated in the sanctuary. The bride requested popular music, including “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Have I Told You Lately that I Love You,” “You Raise Me Up,” and “Perfect.”
The church organist played for the processionals, “Canon in D” for the wedding party and the traditional “Bridal Chorus” as Ann walked down the aisle. The father of the bride officiated the ceremony.
During the unity sand ceremony, I played “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Organ music for the recessional (Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March“), and then harp for postlude music as guests exited.
