Harpist in Madison | Wisconsin Historical Society Wedding

Wedding Music Madison WI

After a year of delays, Laura and Michael were finally able to have their dream wedding!  The black tie event took place at the Wisconsin Historical Society on the campus of the University of Wisconsin in Madison.  It was shortly after a home football game, so the whole area was buzzing!

The ceremony took place in the reading room.  As guests were seated, I played a variety of love songs from the 1950s through today.  A room like this has amazing acoustics for the harp!

Family members were seated and the wedding party walked down the aisle to “To Make You Feel My Love” by Bob Dylan.  Laura’s processional music was “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, I played “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran for the recessional.  I continued with more popular songs as the guests headed downstairs for the cocktail hour and dinner.
