Halloween Wedding – Harp Music in St. Louis

I’ve played for other events on October 31st, but this was my first Halloween wedding!  Gin and Alex had such a beautiful fall day they were even able to have their ceremony outside.  It took place in the garden between the historic Hawken Place and the Hearth Room, where their reception was held.

They encouraged guests to come in costume, and everyone had a lot of fun!  From Rosie the Riveter to Medusa, they embraced the holiday theme and had the bride laughing as she walked down the aisle.

As guests arrived, I played prelude music that was a bit different – I figured this was the time to include songs like the theme from The Addams Family and “Moonlight Sonata!”
