Teagan and Chase were married in December at The Tinsmith in Madison. The modern industrial space was decorated in black, cream, and evergreen, and they even had a gingerbread house wedding cake!
Both the ceremony and reception took place at the same venue, starting with the ceremony in the Front Hall. The family seating was to “Fields of Gold” by Sting. The bridesmaids and trio of flower girls processed to the traditional classical selection “Canon in D” by Pachelbel, and Teagan came down the aisle to “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen.
The recessional to close the ceremony was Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On.”
During the cocktail hour, I was able to stay set up in the same location, just turning the harp to face the Solarium! The couple had only one special request for this time – the Christmas carol “Silent Night.” Other than that, they left the selections up to me, within the genres of classical, popular, jazz, and Celtic music.
Dinner followed in the Main Hall, and the Front Hall was converted to a space for dancing with a live band.
