It was a cold winter day, but the fireplace made the room at Mariah’s Steakhouse cozy for this intimate wedding reception!
Originally scheduled for the fall, the couple moved their wedding to January. They gathered with their families for dinner, with a soundtrack of harp music. They chose “Canon in D” and “River Flows in You” for the time as guests were arriving, then “Marry You” by Bruno Mars for when they made their entrance.
The first dance was to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, and the glass unity ceremony was accompanied by “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts. During the cake cutting, I played “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
During dinner, I played a variety of contemporary love songs, including “All of Me,” “Love Me Like You Do,” “I’ll Be,” and “Stay with Me.”
For wedding ceremonies and receptions (yes, even your first dance!), the harp can provide a classic and elegant atmosphere, all with covers of classical and modern music that you choose. Visit my website ~ Springfield Wedding Music ~ to check my availability and receive a quote!
