How do I book you for my event?
Once you have confirmed my availability, let me know that you wish to receive a contract. To put together a contract for you, I will need to know the:
Your contract will be emailed to you for e-signature. The contract must be e-signed and your 50% deposit paid to secure your date on my calendar. Deposits can be made via Paypal, personal check, or money order. No events are considered booked without the signed contract and deposit.
How much is the deposit?
A 50% deposit is required for all events.
When is the balance due?
The balance for weddings is due no less than 30 days prior to your event. Some last-minute, corporate, or funeral bookings will have the balance due upon my arrival at the event.
How long will you hold my date?
Your date is held for one week after you have requested a contract. If it is not signed by the "Deposit Due Date" specified on your contract, your hold on the date will be released, and it will be made available for other bookings. Your date is NOT held by submitting a quote/availability request.
How far in advance can I book you?
Bookings can be made up to two years from today's date, but I am also available for last- minute events. Most weddings book my services 6-8 months in advance. Booking early ensures my availability for your event, and also locks in current pricing.
What if you have to cancel?
I never cancel without extreme circumstances. If I have advance notice, such as a death in the family, I will do everything I can to arrange for a substitute harpist or other musician. If I am prevented from being at your event due to accident or emergency on the way, all payments will be refunded. Rest assured that this has never happened in all of the years I have been playing for weddings!
