It’s a girl! An intimate and socially-distanced group of family members gathered to celebrate with Emily for her baby shower. They met in the SkyBar of The Edgewater Hotel in Madison, and the room offered beautiful views of both the capitol and Lake Mendota.
The room was decorated with touches of pink, with baskets of flowers around the harp. It was like playing in a garden!
Harp music played throughout the gathering time as guests enjoyed cocktails, and then through the luncheon service. Their special request pieces included “Here Comes the Sun,” “O Re Piya,” “A Groovy Kind of Love,” and “Come Sail Away.” It provided a nice background of music from popular, folk, Bollywood, and musical theatre genres. Something for everyone!
