I play for so many weddings, it is especially a pleasure to celebrate a long marriage! The daughter of the couple hired me and hoped to keep it a surprise, but couldn’t keep the secret from her mother! They were all delighted to add harp music to the festivities at Barrack’s Cater Inn in Peoria.
As soon as guests began to arrive, I played classical selections, including pieces by Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel. The processional was to “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. Following the vow renewal ceremony, everyone took their seats to “Great Day” by Nancy Gustavson.
Throughout the luncheon that followed, I played popular and jazz music – a little something spanning the 1950’s through today’s Top 40. The harp is versatile and can provide classical music for your ceremony and then pop music for your reception!
For weddings, anniversaries, and vow renewals, harp music adds the perfect touch of elegance and distinction. A professional musician, I am available in Peoria and throughout the Midwest to perform for your event. Please visit my website ~ Peoria IL Harpist ~ to contact me for details!
