On St. George’s Day (April 23), I played for the Ladies’ Night Banquet for St. George’s Masonic Lodge in Lagos, Nigeria. The event was held at the Lagoon Restaurant’s banquet hall.
I played for the first hour of the evening as guests arrived and sat down to dinner. I performed a few Celtic folk songs and a wide variety of popular songs, including “Purple Rain” to honor Prince, who passed just two days prior. You’d be surprised how good that sounds on the harp!
The evening carried on with dinner, prizes, a movie, and music from an amazing band.
