Have you always wanted to play the harp? Have a child who shows an interest? Just want to try something new and different?
This fall, I will be teaching a beginners group harp class at The Music Factory in Springfield, Illinois. This class is designed for those who have little to no previous experience with the harp, and you don’t even need to know how to read music. The class is open to students age 7 and up (including adults!).
You don’t even need to own a harp! Harps will be provided for in-class use. If you’d like to have a harp to practice on at home in between classes, we have a limited number available for $15 per month.
Classes are held on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45 pm at The Music Factory, 1139 N. MacArthur, in Springfield. The first class is September 13th, and the semester is 14 weeks long (with breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas). The final class will be January 17th.
Tuition for the group class is $210 for the 14-week semester, plus books ($37.89 + tax).
If a group environment isn’t the thing for you, or the class time doesn’t work with your schedule, private harp lessons are available, and can be set up for a time that is convenient for you.
