Kansas City Harpist | Wedding at Powell Gardens

The beautiful Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel at Powell Gardens outside of Kansas City was the setting for Belle and Nathan’s wedding ceremony.  They had to make some adjustments to their plans and guest list due to the pandemic, but they were still able to go ahead with their originial date!

Their guests arrived and listened to harp music as they found their seats.  The family processional for parents and grandparents was the 1960’s song “I Love How You Love Me,” and the wedding party came down the aisle to “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic.  Belle’s processional was “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

For the recessional they went with something more traditional, the Mendelssohn piece, “Wedding March.”  I continued with upbeat classical and popular music as guests exited the chapel and pictures began.
