Quad Cities Wedding Music ~ Harpist in Rock Island

Rebecca and Collin were married at the Watchtower Lodge at Blackhawk State Park in Rock Island, Illinois. Although it was raining off and on, they went ahead with their planned outdoor ceremony. Fortunately, the harp could stay dry right inside the doors. I just hooked up my amplifier, pointed it outside, and we were good to go! I could still see the processional come down the aisle, so it was easy to time the music appropriately.

Most guests stayed indoors until just before the ceremony began, but they could hear the harp music from either location! The song for family seating and the wedding party processional was “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King. Rebecca came down the aisle to “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles.

For the recessional, they chose “Seasons of Love” from the Broadway musical Rent. I continued to play until the guests came back inside the hall for the reception.
