Finally a beautiful fall day without any threat of rain! The setting was the Lake House in Ludington, a waterfront venue where you can even watch the SS Badger coming in from its trip across Lake Michigan. The ceremony was held on the lawn with views out to the lake, and the reception followed inside.
As guests arrived, they were serenaded with harp music. For the wedding party entrance, they chose the Leonard Cohen song “Hallelujah.” It’s one of my favorites, and sounds beautiful on the harp! Kelsey’s bridal processional was “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn.
“All My Loving” by The Beatles was the recessional that sent the couple, wedding party, and guests off to cocktail hour. With an indoor and outdoor bar set-up, I played from the patio so you could hear the harp no matter where you were!
For dinner, I relocated inside the banquet hall. Music for the reception was popular music, including “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts and “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica.
I play for weddings and other events throughout Northern Michigan, and would love to discuss the music for yours! Visit my website {Ludington MI Wedding Music} for more pictures and audio samples, and to request a quote.
