Collaborating with other professional musicians is always a treat! For this wedding, the couple opted for a duet of harp and piano. With each instrument being capable of playing both melody and harmony, this ensemble creates a full, lush texture of sound.

The ceremony took place at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Omaha on a Friday afternoon. As guests took their seats in the sanctuary, we played a variety of classical and popular pieces, including “Marry Me” by Train.

The family seating was to “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” followed by Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” for the wedding party processional. The bride’s entrance music was the classic “Canon in D” by Pachelbel. The ceremony concluded with the recessional “I Love How You Love Me,” the 1960’s hit for the Paris Sisters.

Either as a harp soloist or in a duo or larger ensemble with other musicians, I love creating the perfect playlist for my clients’ weddings. They can be classical, popular, or a combination of both!
