My Harps

Harps Available for Your Event

I have multiple harps from which you may choose, based the style or appearance you prefer, the type of music you would like me to play, and availability of electricity/logistical considerations. All of my harps were built in the United States.

Venus Penti Pedal Harp

This harp has a modern design and a matte ebony finish. All music on the repertoire list can be played on this harp. Made by W&W Musical Instrument Company in Chicago, this harp is nearly six feet tall and has 46 strings. It was built in 2007.  This is the harp on which I most frequently perform and use for recital, orchestral, and chamber music performances.

Lyon & Healy Silhouette Electric Harp

The ultimate modern harp, this silver, 33-string Lyon & Healy Silhouette can be played in place with the harp on a stand, or on a specially-designed strap allowing me to move around your venue and among your guests while playing.  Perfect for when you want something entirely unexpected!

All music on the repertoire list marked with a “+” can be played on this harp. This harp is fully electric with wired or wireless amplification; a reliable power source must be available at your venue.  This harp can fly anywhere in the world for destination weddings.

Puerto Vallarta Mexico Harpist

Heartland Infinity Carbon-Fiber Lever Harp

This harp was built in North Carolina in 2022 by Dave Woodward, and can go anywhere! Because it is made of carbon fiber instead of wood, it isn’t affected by the weather, temperature, or humidity. Its beautiful gold color fits in perfectly with any venue and color scheme, and it has a built-in pick-up for amplification.

I use this harp for beach weddings, for outdoor weddings when the weather precludes using a wood harp, and for destination weddings that require a flight or have difficult access (pedal harps require being pushed in a cart; this harp can be carried).

BlevinSong 36 Lever Harp

This harp is the most portable of all the instruments, and is used for providing music at beach weddings or other venues that are difficult to access with the larger harps.  All music marked with a “+” on the repertoire list can be performed on this harp.

It has 36 strings and was built by Dwight Blevins in Colorado.  Standing about 4 and 1/2 feet tall, it has a natural maple finish and the appearance of a traditional Celtic / Irish harp.

This harp was built in Chicago, Illinois, has a matte ebony finish, 36 strings, and stands approximately 5 and 1/2 feet tall. All music marked with a “+” on the repertoire list can be performed on this harp.

“We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your music for the wedding.  There is just nothing that could compare to the sound of a harp in that gorgeous setting, and more importantly, we are so thankful for your professionalism and talent!  My husband doesn’t even have an inch of musical awareness in his body, and he on several occasions brought your name up and commented on how wonderful you played and presented yourself.  God bless you!”

“I was listening to Beauty & the Beast’s recordings from a performance and wanted to thank you again for making the music so beautiful and emotional when you played. I cannot imagine it being 1/2 as good without the things you added to the show.”
