The music of the harp is uniquely suited to creating an atmosphere of healing at funerals, memorial services, and visitations. Whether playing somber or joyful music, the sound of the instrument brings a sense of calm and peace to family and friends in attendance.
This family requested that I play for the visitation immediately preceding the funeral service at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Madison, Wisconsin. The music included hymns, classical selections, and a few choice popular pieces, such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” that are appropriate for these settings.
I play for services at houses of worship, funeral homes, the graveside, and any other location meaningful to the family. Last-minute bookings are available, and you can choose the music or leave those details up to me.
