At-home weddings can present some logistical challenges, but they can also be beautifully personal! Kayla and Blake were married at the groom’s sister’s home in rural Danvers, Illinois. They had lovely fall weather for their September celebration, and guests were seated facing the pond.

I played the prelude music as they were seated, and then began the processionals with “All of Me” by John Legend for the wedding party entrance. Once the ring bearer was in place, I switched the music to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” for Kayla’s walk down the aisle.

They chose “A Thousand Years” from Twilight: Breaking Dawn for the unity ritual. It was a short & sweet ceremony, concluding with Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” as the recessional.

Music continued as guests headed off to the reception at the hall in Danvers. I’m sure the couple will always have fond memories every time they visit their family and look over the spot where they got married!

I play for weddings of all sizes in any location – in Peoria, Bloomington, throughout Central Illinois, and beyond! Contact me via my website ~ Central IL Wedding Musician ~ to request a quote for your wedding music!
