Harp music is not just for weddings! Any event can be made more elegant and sophisticated with a harpist. This intimate celebration was for a long-time employee’s retirement. Alongside her day job, she is also a violinist!
They managed to surprise the guest of honor with the dinner at the Springfield Polo Club, and requested classical and sacred music. She knew almost everything I played, and I even included some of her favorite pieces – unbeknownst to me! She tried to get some of the other guests to play “name that tune” with her, but they knew better than to try to best a musician at that game!
