There is something especially meaningful about hearing beloved Bollywood melodies performed live on the harp at a family celebration. Recently, I had the pleasure of providing Bollywood harp music for a 70th birthday party at Tasty Bites USA in Schaumburg. The evening brought together multiple generations of family and friends, with elegant live music creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere throughout the celebration.
For this event, I performed a customized selection of Bollywood favorites arranged for solo harp, blending romantic classics with iconic songs that held special memories for the guest of honor and her family. The harp added a unique and sophisticated sound to these timeless melodies while still preserving the emotion and familiarity that make Bollywood music so beloved.

One of the highlights of the evening was a special request for “Gehra Hua,” which added an especially personal touch to the celebration. Custom song requests are always one of my favorite parts of preparing for multicultural weddings and events, since they allow the music to reflect each family’s unique story and traditions.
Bollywood music translates beautifully to the harp, whether for milestone birthdays, engagement parties, sangeets, mehndi celebrations, wedding ceremonies, receptions, anniversaries, or luxury private events.
