The music of the harp is a wonderful way to honor loved ones who have passed. I can play a variety of music special to your family, including popular, classical, folk music, and hymns. I play for services in churches, funeral homes, and at the graveside.
In January, I played for two funerals/visitations. The first was at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg, Ohio. I played during the visitation, and the organist played for the service itself.
The following weekend, I played for the visitation and funeral Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger, Indiana. The music included several Irish songs to celebrate the family’s heritage. During the Mass, I collaborated with the church music director and a vocalist.
With COVID precautions in place, we were more spaced out, with the singer in a separate room. The church has done an excellent job using their sound system and monitors so that live music can continue in a safe way.
